Saturn

Saturn is a brand of General Motors, which emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2009. As part of the bankruptcy process, the brand and its dealer network is currently in the process of being sold to the Penske Automotive Group. Started in 1985, the very first Saturn automobile was sold in 1990. The brand operated outside of the existing GM structure at the time with its own assembly plant and dealer network. A selling strategy of "no-haggle" pricing and remarkable customer service earned the brand a loyal following early on. In 1999, GM began expanding the Saturn lineup, which now includes various cars, sports cars and CUVs.
